I have had the pleasure of playing several New York golf courses. By far the best of th elot was a course named Morefar. At the time I played it it's membership was stated as being twelve members. What was particularly unique was that the fairways were lined with statuary - many of them bronze and absolutely beautiful. I don't know if it's true but I have heard that its membership now numbers forty. The course was founded by the chief executive officer of a large insurance company located in New Jersey. The course was built by him and primarily for use by his executive vice presidents of the company.
