Southford Falls State Park, Connecticut

Southford Falls State Park
Southbury, Connecticut

Connecticut State Flag

At the turn of the century, this area was the site of the Diamond Match Company. Scenic waterfalls are at the southeast end of the Park on the Eight Mile River. Southford Falls was established as a state park in 1932 and is spread out over 169 acres.  My trip there was part of an expedition by a Connecticut photography club.
