Alaska Cruise

Alaska Cruise

Several years ago my wife and I decided to do an Alaskan cruise.  The best part of the trip was the pre-cruise stay in Vancouver and a day trip to Victoria.  Alaska itself was mediocre, however, in all fairness that was mostly due to inclement weather.  While on the cruise we had constantly heavily overcast skies and lots of rain.  The highlight of the cruise was our first day there where we boarded a helicopter (our first time on one) for a trip to Mendenhall Glacier.  In spite was the heavy rain the flight was fantastic as was the glacier itself.  A few photos are below followed by an Internet link to show some scenes of the glacier, Sitka, Skagway and Hubbard Bay.
