The Yankee Candle Company in South Deerfield, Massachusetts is a great place to go and spend an afternoon.  On their village property is a huge candle, Christmas, and gift shop.  There is also a candle making museum, plus an outstanding restaurant.  On occasion they will also have a show in their auditorium/gymnasium.  Such was the case on one of our visits there when the Von Trapp Family singers put on an excellent concert.

Wadsworth Festival of Trees

Wadsworth Festival of Trees 

The Wadsworth Antheneum in Hartford, Connecticut has on occasion presented a "Festival of Trees".  These photos are from the event in 2007.  There are literally hundreds of decorated Christmas trees on display and well as scores of other Christmas decoration.  Below are a few photos of the 2007 event and an Internet link to much. much more of the Festival.

Christmas Lights at LaSalette Shrine

The LaSalette Shrine draws thousands of spectators every Christmas Holiday season to a spectacular display of lights.  It's an event where you'll likely spend a couple of hours just walking the grounds viewing their amazing displays.  A few photos follow below.  You'll also find an Internet link to view a four and a half minute clip highlighting the lights and exhibits.  Enjoy!!!!!!!!
