Spain has had several golfers who were renowned around the world. here are just a few.
José María Cañizares - He turned professional in 1967 and made the top hundred on the European Tour Order of Merit every year from its first season in 1972 through to 1993.
Severiano Ballesteros - From the mid-1970s to the mid-1990s he was repeatedly ratred No. 1 in the world.
Sergio García - He has won 36 international tournaments as a professional, most notably the 2008 Players Championship and the 2017 Masters Tournament.
Miguel Ángel Jiménez - He has won 21 times on the European Tour and has been a member of two victorious Ryder Cup teams.
José María Olazábal - Hechas enjoyed success on both the European Tour and the PGA Tour, and has won two major championships, both at The Masters.
Jon Rahm - Rahm was the number one golfer in the World Amateur Golf Ranking for a record 60 weeks
