Who are the best golfers from New York.  These would have to rank right up there among the best.
Gene Sarazen -  His real name was Eugenio Saraceni.  He begancaddying  at age ten at local golf clubs, took up golf himself, and gradually developed his skills; Sarazen was essentially self-taught. Somewhat novel at the time, he used the interlocking grip to hold the club.
Walter Hagen -  He won 11 major golf tournaments in his 45 PGA winning events to become one of the worlds most notable champions.
Jeff Sluman - He has a total of eighteen PGA tour victories including the PGA Championship in 1988. His estimated new worth exceeds 10 million dollars.
Dottie Pepper - She started as a professional golfer under the name of Dottie Mochrie which was her married name at the time. .Over all she  won two major championships and a total of 17 LPGA Tour events in all.
