Golf Scorecard History 101, Tasmania, Australia
Set #7
National Park GC to Ouse CC

Who are the best golfers from Tasmania.   These were/are among the best.
Clyde Pearce - was an Australian amateur golfer. He won both the Australian Open and the Australian Amateur in 1908 and was runner-up in the Australian Amateur three times. He was killed in Belgium during World War I.
Matthew Goggin - Goggin has been a member of the Nationwile Tour and the PGA tour from 2000 to 2003, and regained his card in 2006.  His best PGA Tour year-end money list finish was in 2008 when he finished in 40th.
Peter Toogood - ,He was an Australian amateur golfer and won the Australian Amateur in 1954 and the Tasmanian Open eight times. He was also part of the team that won the inaugural Eisenhower Trophy in 1958
Leonard Nettlefold - Nettlefold was an Australian businessman and amateur golfer. He won the Australian Amateur twice, in 1926 and 1928, and won the Tasmanian Open and the Tasmanian Amateur, eight times each

Of the three dozen plus one scorecards shown below it is likely the best course among them is Ocean Dunes of which I have two scorecard versions.

Just A Little More:Once again I’ve scanned a couple more photos of relatives that were originally photographed in 1899 while they were on a trip to Niagara Falls.  Shown first is the tour boat the Maid of the Mist, then relative on board and lastly an image of them below the Falls
