The extent of my time in Alabama was essentially spending one day before New Year's Eve in Auburn, then driving across the state from Destin, Florida to New Orleans to spend a few days there during their mardi gras. While in Auburn we toured the Auburn University campus, visiting two golf courses to pick up scorecards, and having dinner at a great restaurant on New Year's eve.

For those vacationing and golfing in Alabama I suggest the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail and/or selecting courses to play from the following website.
