Lighthouse Point Park

Lighthouse Point Park
New Haven, Connecticut

After seventy-three years the light from the New Haven Light House at Lighthouse Point is now dark. The tower does remain, greeting ships from around the world.  The city bought the park from an amusement company and today it features a bird sanctuary, a public beach, ball fields and a carousel.  A few photos are shown below followed by an Internet link to tour more of the park.
