The following are most likely to be the best ever Vermont bred golfers.
Patty Sheehan - This native Vermonter became a member of the LPGA Tour in 1980 and won six major championships and 35 LPGA Tour events in all. She is a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame. Sheehan also hosts the Patty Sheehan & Friends, which is a tournament on the Legends Tour. . In addition to golf she was rated one of the top junior snow skiers in the country as a 13-year-old. Keegan Bradley - He is an original Vermonter As a professional golfer he has won four tour events, most notably the 2011 PGA Championship. He is one of six golfers to win in his major debut. Bradley made the cut in his first PGA Tour event, at the 2011Sony Open in Hawaii. Bradley won his first PGA Tour event at the 2011 HP Byron Nelson Championship.
