Many top golfers were born in Virginia. The following are of the top stars.
Curtis Strange - Did you know that Curtis Strange has an identical twin brother. Strange was one of the leading players on the PGA Tour PGA Tour in the 1980s; winning 16 times in those years. He became the first PGA tour player tt win a million dollars in official money in a season. He won two consecutive U.S. Opens in 1988 and 1989.
Sam Snead - It seem like he lasted forever. Proof is in the fact he was one of the top players in the world for the better part of four decades. He was self taught and wone over 80 PGA events.
Lanny Wadkins - He ranked in the top 10 for 86 weeks in the Official World rankings. As a professional he won 33 times with 21 of those times coming on the PGA Tour.
