I was very surprised about this course when I looked it up on the Internet.  First I was surprised when looking at the scorecards to see the course was much shorter than I expected.  Secondly I was further surprised to see it had a previous name i.e: Las Aves GC and it was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr.  Also, Jones did it twice coming back to re-design Las Aves GC into the Real Club Valderrana.  It is now considered the best course in the country.
