Who are the best golfers born in the state of Washington?  I vote for these two as among The best ever.

JoAnne Gunderson Carner - She is likely the best golfer ever to be born in the state of Washington.  Her 43 victories on the LPGA tour  and her induction into the World Golf Hall of Fame attest to that ranking. . She is the only woman to have won the USA Girls Junior the US Women’s Amateur and the US Worlds Open Championships.  Enough said!!!!!   

Kirk Triplett  - He played on the PGA Tour, the Nationwide Tour and the PGA Tour Champions tour. plus tours in Australia, Asia and Canada. His three wins on the PGA Tour plus his overall longevity on all of the tours listed above rate  him as one of the best golfers born in Washington.

Just a Little More:
This issue I've selected a few more ball markers.  The first one is obviously named after me.  It's from Ireland.  Unfortunately I was in the village of Glasson (just north of Athlone) three weeks before the course was opened.   The next one is from the Springfield CC in Massachusetts and lastly the Timberlin GC in Connecticut.
