USEA Equestrian Novice Championship

This was my first trip to an event of this nature.  the only disappointing part was that I did not realize this specific event was for novice riders and thus was expecting higher jumps. Nevertheless it was a thoroughly enjoyable day.

Simsbury Farms is a municipal golf course in the upscale town of Simsbury, Connecticut.  I've had the pleasure of playing several times and it has always been in tip-top condition.  A few images are shown below.  The Internet link will give you the full 18 hole tour.
