In trying to pick the best golfers from Sweden I ran into a problem. There were too many good one to pick just five. So in essence I picked five that are still remembered by the public
Annika Sorenstam - Annika was a multople tiome winner of the LPGA Player of the Year. She earned enough tour victories to become a “shoe-in” World Hall of Fame member.
Jesper Parnivik - An extremely popular player Parnivik spent many consecutive weeks in the top 10 ranking of the World Golf Ranking. He also was a multiple Ryder Cup player.
Anna Nordqvist - She was Swedish Junior Player of the Year (2004, 2005), Swedish Amateur of the Year (2005) as well as many other amateur and professional events.
Liselotte Neumann - When she recorded her first LPGA Tour win, by claiming the 1988 U.S. Women's Open title, Neumann also became the first Swedish golfer, male or female, to win a major championship.
Henrik Stenson - He is a Swedish professional golfer who plays both on the PGA and European Tours. He is the first male Swedish and first male Nordic major champion, having won the 2016 Open Championship at Royal Troon with a major championship record score of 264.
