Several years ago I had the pleasure of touring Northern Ireland and playing golf on two of their finest courses. Equally important the people I met in their country were the friendliest that I've ever met in my worldly ventures. You may be interested in knowing: "Partition took place during the Irish War of Independence (1919–21), a guerrilla conflict between the Irish Republican Army (IRA) and British forces. During 1920–22, in what became Northern Ireland, partition was accompanied by violence in defence or opposition to the new settlement".
I have not found a list of only Northern Ireland golf courses. The best I can find is a list of courses in both Ireland and Northern Ireland. The link is below. While putting away the Christmas decoration in our attic I opened a very old box to asee what was in it. One of the items was a very old photograph album previously owned by the sister of my wife's father. On each page she wrote the year the photo was taken and a very brief description. Her maiden name was Alice Valentine, her married name Alice Beebe. These are just a couple of her photos.
