TPC River Highlands
Memorial Garden
Cromwell Connecticut
Early this year the Travelers Insurance Company decided to build a Memorial Garden to recognize all of the past champions for what originally started out as the Greater Hartford Open but is now known as The Travelers Championship. The garden is located adjacent to the practice facility at the TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut. Thanks to the Travelers Insurance Company and the PGA tour this facility (which is rated as one of the finest courses in the state) is currently the site of the Travelers Championship and will remain so for the foreseeable future. Following are images of the gardens construction and the plaques for all past winners who are now deceased.
