In searching the Internet for the most highly rated Ontario golf courses I found several versions. It seemed like they all had major differences. So I decided to create my own list of the best courses in Ontario. There are only two on my list because I've only played two courses in Ontario. Rated number one is Whirlpool GC. This paragraph is on their website and is absolutely true: "The Whirlpool Golf Course is one of Canada’s most highly rated and renowned public golf courses. It is located in a spectacular setting against the backdrop of the Niagara River Whirlpool and Gorge". Gananoque G&CC opened in 1921 and is a pleasure to play. What I remember most was having to hit two golf balls off one tee. One was aimed at hole #4 a par 3 and the second aimed at adjacent fairway of hole #5 hole.
Thus I rank Whirlpool GC as the best 18 hole course and Gananoque G&CC as the best 9 hole course in the province.

Just a Little More:
While seeing these at a motorcycle expo many many years ago I knew I wanted to learn how to ride them. That fizzled shortly thereafter when on a vacation Out of the country I rented one and quickly drove it into a stone wall. Fortunately I was going very slow and was not seriously injured. It quickly quelled my dream. These are some I saw at the expo. The first two images are of a Harley Davidson Soft Tail, the third is a 2006 Custom Pro Street Cycle, the last a 2002 Susuki Model GSXR.
