I have never played golf in Kansas although I have come close by golfimng in their neighboring state - Missouri.  With a little bit of luck I am hoping to get back there someday to add another notch in my golf belt.

My last blog on Iowa golf scorecards was published in late October 2018.  At that time I had slightly under 1,100 Iowa scorecards in my collection.  Since that time I've added another 100 plus scorecards now giving me a total of 1,208.

It seems hard to believe these numbers but this paragraph which I found on the Internet says "Iowa Golf Courses: 5 Public Courses Every Golfer Should Play. Iowa golf courses feature the variety of natural landscapes that The Hawkeye State has to offer. There are over 440 golf courses in Iowa. Overall, there is a great collection of public golf courses to choose from."

Be aware, however that the club directory listing of the Iowa Golf Association only shows 205 courses.  Their website is https://iowagolf.org/iga-member-club-directory/
